It is with great pleasure that we summarize the results of the 59th SHD Conference, held on June 1 and 2, 2023, at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Novi Sad.
We are pleased that the Meeting was well attended: around 150 scientists and researchers were happy to share the new results of their research in various fields of chemistry and technology.
We proudly summarize that the conference scientific program was very rich and comprehensive, and that the lectures were given by seven distinguished plenary and invited lecturers from Hungary, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia, as well as two young scientists, winners of the SCS medal for excellence and success in science. About a hundred oral and poster presentations also were highly noticed. All the presented results, especially those from the lectures, caused great attention of the attendees and a rich and fruitful discussion.
